LitVerse Chronicles Peer Review Process
The peer review process is at the core of reputable scholarly publishing and is the driving force behind all publications in LitVerse Chronicles. Reviewers for LitVerse Chronicles maintain the highest ethical standards of scholarly research, and all manuscripts follow a double-anonymized peer review process to ensure quality, fairness, and the integrity of scholarly publishing.
Overview of the Peer Review Process
All submissions to LitVerse Chronicles undergo an initial evaluation by the Editor(s)-in-chief to determine suitability for the journal or book scope. If deemed appropriate, the submission is then anonymized and assigned to qualified reviewers for a double-anonymized review.
The entire review process typically takes 12 to 16 weeks. In cases where the reviewers' comments contradict each other or a report is delayed, an additional expert review may be sought. Revised manuscripts may be returned to the initial reviewers for re-evaluation, and more than one round of revisions may be required before a final decision is made.
Responsibilities of the Editor(s)-in-Chief
Organize and maintain an Editorial Board, consisting of Associate Editors and Editorial Review Board Members representing researchers from international institutions.
Ensure that each manuscript submission meets the publication's formatting and submission guidelines.
Assign at least three reviewers to each manuscript for a double-anonymized peer review.
Evaluate the reviews and make the final decision regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection of a manuscript.
Provide feedback to authors and share the reviewers' comments to facilitate improvements to the manuscript.

Reviewers are asked to evaluate each manuscript based on the following criteria:
Originality and Contribution: Does the manuscript offer new insights or significant contributions to the field?
Relevance to Research Community: Is the content useful and relevant to the target audience of researchers and practitioners?
Coverage of Literature: Does the manuscript provide a comprehensive and relevant review of existing literature?
Methodology and Analysis: Are the research methods and analysis clearly described and appropriate for the research questions?
Clarity and Writing Quality: Is the manuscript well-written, clear, and free of unnecessary jargon?
Organizational Structure: Is the manuscript logically organized, with clear conclusions supported by the research?
Reviewers are expected to provide their overall assessment of the manuscript, followed by specific comments and suggestions. Evaluations should go beyond grammatical corrections to focus on the manuscript's scholarly value.
Decision Process
Once all reviews are received, the Editor(s)-in-Chief will make a decision regarding the manuscript:
Accept: The manuscript is accepted as is, and authors are provided with formatting guidelines for final submission.
Minor/Major Revision: Authors are required to revise the manuscript based on the reviewers' feedback. Revisions are re-evaluated, and this process may repeat as needed.
Reject: If the manuscript does not meet the standards for publication, it will be rejected, and constructive feedback will be provided to guide the authors for future submissions.
It is important to note that a request for revisions does not guarantee acceptance of the manuscript.
